Job Summary:

We are looking for a detail-oriented and motivated Software Quality Assurance (SQA) Engineer with at least 1 year of experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality of our software products through manual and/or automated testing, reporting bugs, and collaborating closely with developers and project stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

• Analyze requirements and specifications to develop test cases and test plans
• Perform manual and/or automated testing of web, mobile, and APIs
• Identify, document, and report software defects clearly and concisely
• Conduct regression, functional, integration, and performance testing
• Collaborate with developers, designers, and project managers to understand features and resolve issues
• Ensure that software releases meet quality standards before deployment
• Participate in daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospective meetings (Agile/Scrum)
• Maintain detailed and organized documentation of test cases and results
• Continuously improve QA processes and contribute ideas for better product quality

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
• Minimum 1 year of experience in Software Quality Assurance or a related role
• Understanding of QA methodologies, tools, and processes
• Experience with bug tracking tools (e.g., Jira, Bugzilla, Trello)
• Familiarity with software development lifecycle (SDLC)
• Basic knowledge of test automation tools is a plus (e.g., Selenium, Cypress)
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment

Preferred Skills (Not Mandatory):

• Basic understanding with automation testing tools
• Knowledge of APIs and API testing (Postman, Swagger)
• Understanding of CI/CD pipelines
• Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git)
